To promote the safety and well-being of citizens by providing efficient and professional 911 dispatch services for all emergency and non-emergency calls and to provide technical management of the County's E-911 system and public safety radio system.
Department Description
Central Communications has been providing public safety communications services to the citizens of Anoka County since 1974. The department answers 911 calls for the 344,838 citizens of the county, and provides dispatch services for all 11 law enforcement agencies and 16 fire departments in the county.
