Company History

The Illinois Quad Cities Communication Center (QCOMM) was formed after the State of Illinois amended the Emergency Telephone Systems Act, to consolidate and upgrade 9-1-1 systems reducing the number of PSAPS in a county. The cities of Moline, East Moline, Milan and Silvis joined in this consolidation forming QCOMM.

QCOMM is governed by a board of directors made up of 4 city administrators and 4 police/fire representatives from these cities. Daily operations are run by an Executive Director and Deputy Director.
